Our Sterling 6mm TRC, sewn loops, come in two types, either a sewn loop, or sewn eye to eye connector. Both styles make for great friction hitches. You can make various different styles of hitches and select various different lengths to get a perfect fit. For more details on the specific types of friction hitches read below.
Eye to eye connectors: When selecting length keep in mind the loops themselves are not counted as part of the final length. The loops also measure about 3” total. This means if you select a 20 inch length, the final length with the loops would come out to be roughly 26 inches, give or take half an inch.
Sewn Loops. The Sewn Loops will measure from the inside to the inside of the loop when pulled tight and flat. The sewn down portion is 3 inches in length with a 4 to 5 inch piece of clear or black heat shrink.
