The 8mm Sterling OpLux Tree Tether features 8mm Sterling OpLux, sewn 6mm Sterling TRC Cord Eye to Eye Connector, and a BEASTEE D-Ring, with an amsteel loop to act as a tender. This Tether will arrive ready to rock with a TRC Eye to Eye connector forming a Distel Hitch, Prusik Tender, and an 8” tied eye. OpLux makes for an amazing tether and lineman's belt as it is much more pliable than other climbing ropes while still maintaining an extremely high MBS rating of 5,440 lb.
This Tether easily folds up and packs away in your pouch, bag or any other carrying system. OpLux is lightweight, 8mm in diameter, and almost soft to the touch. This Tether is by far our easiest Tether to adjust in regards to the Prusik. 6mm TRC, Beastee D-ring Tender, and OpLux combine for a smooth and easy one hand adjustable Tether.
