Browning 1911-22 Hex-Head Blued-Steel HEX GRIP SCREW KIT - OEM Length
For sale here is a set of four (4) hex-drive blued steel grip screws for the new Browning 1911-22 & 1911-380 pistols, both the "Government" and "Compact" sized models.  These are quality blued-steel screws with hex drive sockets rather than a slot.  They can be installed with a hex wrench, which is included.
The last photos show the screws installed in a Browning 1911-22.  These include the proper size hex wrench to make your project even easier.
These are 3/16" long (same as the OEM screws) to be used with the original plastic grips that come with the gun and some wood grips.  We have a longer version available as well, which will better accommodate the thicker bearing surface under the grip screw's head that the wood grips often have -  see our other listings for the long version.
If you're using the original plastic grips, these are the proper length for use with them.  If you have other grips, you may wish measure the screws you have to determine what you need, and perhaps purchase our longer-length screws instead.
You are purchasing ONE set of four screws with a hex wrench for installation.  If you would prefer them in stainless steel, see our other listings as we have those as well.
Unlike slotted screws, these hex screws are positively driven and less prone to having the drive area damaged by a slipped screwdriver.  These provide a snug fit around the head of the screw without extra space, so if your grips don't line up quite right you may want to use a set with a smaller head diameter; see my other listings for those.  The heads don't protrude outside the grip's surface when tightened, allowing them to be used with thinner grips as well, and stainless steel alloy or black oxide coating (depending on the version you choose) provides resistance to corrosion and lubricity for the threads.  These enhance the appearance of your pistol as well.
If you have a different model pistol and don't know if these will fit, ASK FIRST, as these may not work in models other than those listed above and in the listing title, and they are not returnable.

Before modifying your firearm, be sure you have completely removed the magazine, unloaded the weapon and cleared it.  You cannot be too safe when handling firearms!  If you do not feel comfortable performing the work required to replace your grip screws, seek qualified help.  You are responsible for damage to your firearm, tools, etc.  Do not overtighten any grip screws, as you may damage the threads on the frame of the weapon or interfere with the proper operation of the gun.  Never use the screws to pull the grips onto the gun, as you may damage the grips.  If you're not sure what to do or how to do it, ask!  There are plenty of folks willing to help.
