Here’s a beautiful new set of fine Englsh walnut grips for the for the Colt 1905 pistol, a classic Colt from over 100 years ago
.  Colt introduced the 1905 model
in cal. .45 Rimless.  It was the .45 Colt Automatic Pistol, Military Model, or more commonly, the Mode of 1905. In its 1906 catalog, Colt boldly proclaimed this: "The Most Powerful Small Arm Ever Invented."
These are stunning grips with beautiful grain patterns and coloring, and the finest quality machining, all made in the USA.  The fit is very precise, and when installed will highly enhance the appearance of your firearm.  The grips are cut to achieve a tremendous grip surface that brings out the true grain of the natural wood.  This version of the grips are checkered edge-to-edge, with the exception of the diamond surrounding each grip screw escutcheon.  These grips are installed as panels, with the original screws - screws are not supplied with these grips (we have screws available for purchase if you need replacements).
These grips are simply outstanding when fitted to a gun, and there aren't any photos that really do these grips justice; these are simply beautiful.  The grips aren't varnished, but finished with a fine oil to enhance the beauty of the wood and preserve it as well.  Whether your gun's finish is like, these will add that special touch, as no two sets of grips have exactly the same grain.  See the last photo for detail of the checkering, diamond surround and escutcheon.

These are easy to install as they're panel-type grips and simply replace those already on the gun.
As is sometimes the case with 100-year-old guns, the gun's frame dimensions vary, and fitting of these grips may be needed to your particular gun.
These pictures are samples of the some of the grips; yours will be similar in appearance, but as every set varies due to the natural grain and color no two sets will be exactly alike.  Some of the photos were taken with flash, causing the difference in the color appearances, as the grips are brown in color, rather than reddish or orange.  Be sure you know the gun you have as a restocking fee may be assessed for grip returned to us.
These grips aren't plastic or synthetic; they are fine English walnut, with the grips made in the USA by craftsmen using modern CNC equipment to allow these to be sold at a price that is affordable.  They are beautifully made, and the pictures can't truly show the beauty of these grips.  The detail of the grain stands out because these aren't stained, they are oiled; the natural beauty of the wood shines through.

These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel.
