This listing is for a new custom made heavy leather
Custom Leather Sheath/Baldric for a Zombie Tools New Hellion.
The body and backing of the sheath was made using 10-11 oz veg tanned leather. I attached two one and a quarter inch straps to the body from 8-9 oz veg tanned leather.
The sheath is attached to a 1 1/2” 9-10 oz veg tanned leather shoulder/baldric strap using two 1” solid steel D rings and two brass 1” chap snaps. The buckle on the shoulder/baldric strap is brass that I darkened in. I also added two 1" solid steel D rings to the back of the body so the sheath could be carried in a verity of positions.
I applied two costs of leather finish to the body and straps and hand sewed the pieces together using waxed thread and a saddle stitch.
As a design element,
I attached a stainless steel pendent in the form or a Norse eagle to the front of the sheath too.
